ELEVΛTEK

About

Salesforce projects break in the gap between business and tech.

Simon Jasmin has been on both sides of that gap. He founded Elevatek, and he sometimes works with freelancers and other collaborators.

The business side

First, he ran sales and marketing.

Simon was a director, then a vice president, in sales and marketing at a manufacturing company. He managed his own team, plus external agents, distributors, and sales teams. He studied business administration, and he understands sales, marketing, and customer success operations.

The tech side

Then 11 years building on Salesforce.

He has always thrived on technology: building apps that save time, and improving operations with automation and now AI. He came to Deloitte through Nubik, a partner firm that Deloitte acquired, and spent about a year there as a manager. There, people built small pieces of a global solution, and the pieces didn't fit together well. At Elevatek, he works on the whole picture: business process and technology, across stacks.

What goes wrong

The system goes live. People don't use it.

This is the failure Simon sees most. Solutions get built without a shared understanding of what the business needs, and users don't test the actual solution before go-live.
